Transportation of Goats

We want to ensure that the goats experience the least amount of stress during travel.  Here are several transportation options to consider:

• Private transport: Please ensure that you bring an appropriate size trailer or large size dog crate depending on the size of animal you are purchasing. Large bucks do not fit in dog crates.

• Commercial Livestock Hauling: there are several commercial livestock haulers in the area, we are located about 15 minutes off of the trans-Canada HWY.  

• Air travel: We can bring livestock to the Kelowna or Kamloops airport for $100. It is an hour and 20min drive from our farm. Travel will be arranged with West Jet Cargo. Please be advised the larger the animal the price will go up for shipping. 

• Occasionally we will personally deliver goats to Kamloops, Kelowna and the Lowermainland . We charge $.60/km for drop off of animals with a minimum charge of $50. 

• Kelowna WestJet cargo: medium crate $330 up to 50kg / large crate $437 up to 75kg.
